dear ida,
employment gods are finally shining on me. in their honour [and the paycheck they offer] i got myself a manicure, washed my car and took a run to the supermarket. ah, how rice crispy treats [4 bars for a dollar @ sav-ons, kids] and freshly painted nails can change a girl.
tomorrow? tomorrow, for the first time in 6 weeks, i get to do the 9 to 5 thing. excited? no, cos i like the summer thing. relieved? yes. now i can pay my rent.
...and be able to afford my manicure next week.
