so i'm getting better. better at making an effort to not seem stand-offish. i let myself smile back at the cute guy in the red truck the other morning. i let myself be smiley and talkative with bill the cute waiter who touched my shoulder-blade at fred's.
i let myself put my guard down a little. yes, i did.
