dear ida,
my salvaged-weedy tomato plant is my favourite right now. what i once thought was a pesky weed in with my snow peas is turning into a hardy leafy tomato plant. it's been in its own pot for about two weeks and it appears to sprout new leaves each day and the stem is getting stronger and stronger. i give it special care and encouragement grow big today! i say to it as i leave for the day after it is freshly watered and happy.
yeah, i'm really this dorky, but you knew that already! hee.
